I have been going through ortho treatment at another company. I went to see Dr. Payne for a second opinion, and though I don't need treatment, I had to write a positive review. I was so nervous about getting a second opinion because I'm in such an emotional, vulnerable state that I was willing to accept any treatment options they'd recommend even though I just spent $4000 on invisalign at another company. Their office was so kind and professional, and so thorough in their exam. I told Dr. Payne about my experience and how I wasn't happy with the results from a different company. He provided me options and was upfront and honest with me saying I didn't need braces, however would recommend it but rather suggested I spend the money on other options such as cosmetics and gum grafting that I may need in the future. And he didn't pressure me into going through another treatment again or making me feel bad for not wanting to do it, which I think is every customer's fear especially when we're in such a vulnerable state. I just have to say that his honesty and the way he actually cared about me as a person, meant a lot. And because of that, I would definitely recommend Dr. Payne and his office. He truly does care about his patients and won't pressure his customers into doing something that isn't necessary. He doesn't just treat you like a number and truly listens to your concerns. Thank you Dr. Payne, not only did you save me from having to spend another $4000, but you created a safe space for me to feel like I could make that decision on my own.
